How to interact with villagers
The source describes speaking, turning in a quest, and giving a gift as available interactions. Speaking and quest turn-ins use the same interaction key, with quest turn-ins taking priority. Giving a gift is a daily way to increase hearts, and the gift sources divide responses into Loved, Liked, Neutral, Disliked, Hated, and Banned categories.
Dating and date events
The Villagers source states that Ari can confess to a character marked single after reaching eight hearts. It also says that Elsie explains dating, dates can be invited on weekends, and a partner can go on one date per week. Because the collected sources do not all present the same level of detail, exact unlock conditions are To be confirmed until checked against an official or in-game source.
The same source describes Date Inspiration Items. An Inn Menu can unlock an Inn Meal Date, while a Picnic Set can unlock a Deep Woods Picnic Date. The first time you go on a new date with someone, the source says you receive a commemorative photo card that can be placed in the home.
